TinyNest
Free unlimited photos, no ads, and a screenshot lock — app only
A 2025 newcomer for a baby's first years: unlimited photos free, no ads, per-relative screenshot controls. Videos and 'memory generation' need Pro, relatives need the app, and the App Store label lists identifiers used to track you.
Just the safety question? Is TinyNest safe? →
Where TinyNest ranks
Its place on each "best for…" page — the same fifteen criteria, weighted for one situation at a time. Green is the top third of that page's ranking, red the bottom third.
TinyNest, from Tiny Nest AI LLC in Sacramento, arrived on the App Store in 2025 and on Google Play in December of that year. It is aimed squarely at new parents: photos sorted automatically by the baby’s age, unlimited photo storage at no cost, and a screenshot control for every relative you invite. Videos, and the “memory generation” the name hints at, sit behind Pro.
Every criterion
- Price
- Free; Pro $12.99 or $79.99 in-app (periods not stated); $199.99 lifetime gift"TinyNest is free to download with unlimited photo storage." "Pro unlocks unlimited videos, unlimited memory generation, and many more features."[1][2][3]
- Do relatives have to pay?

- Can the company open your photos?
- Yes — SSL in transit; stored on Amazon S3; no end-to-end claimYes. What stands out
Unlimited photos, free, no ads. “Upload as many photos and videos as you want. We offer unlimited storage”, and “no public profiles, no strangers, no ads”. The free tier’s video allowance is the catch: the site says only that “Pro unlocks unlimited videos”.
The screenshot lock. A “Can screenshot” permission per relative; turned off, “they get a blank image instead of your photo”, and every attempt is logged. No other app here offers it.
App only, both platforms. iPhone, iPad and Mac on the App Store, Android on Google Play — and relatives join by installing the app and tapping an invite link. There is no browser view, so a grandparent who “doesn’t do apps” is out.
Pro is priced above most of the field. $12.99 and $79.99 in-app purchases whose periods the listing doesn’t state, and a $199.99 lifetime gift. If those are monthly and yearly, the yearly price sits between Tinybeans+ and Kin Album.
“AI” is in the company name, and the pages don’t say what it does with the photos. Neither the site nor the privacy policy states whether photos are analysed, and the policy makes no end-to-end claim. The App Store label lists identifiers used to track you and precise location linked to you — the only album here with precise location on its label.
Who it suits
Parents who want a free, app-only baby album with screenshot controls and a family that will all install it. Families with a relative who won’t, or who want a stated photo resolution or a company that can’t open the photos, should compare Keepr Circle for the no-app path and Kin Album for the encryption.
